SHODHANA Educational Health & Rural Development Society (SEHRDS), one of the Social development organizations in Telangana (Formerly known as Andhra Pradesh) in the area of skill development, is a secular, non-political and not for profit organization. Inspired by the concept of ‘Hope for Hopeless”, SEHRDS has its prime focus on skill development training with placement assistance to unemployed unskilled dropout youth, leading to their empowerment.
SEHRDS strongly believes that only education and empowerment of the youth can change the destiny of the nation.
SEHRDS has not only gained credibility but also brought about a huge demand for transforming the youth into productive men and women. SEHRDS had trained nearly 298 candidates and placement assistance provided for nearly 195 candidates.
VISION & MISSION
The Training and Development Division creates, promotes and fosters individual and organizational effectiveness by developing and offering an array of innovative and diverse programs in support of the organization’s commitment to employee development, partnerships, and organizational enrichment.
The goal of the society is to provide quality skill training and circulate the best standards of learning among candidates, with excellence. Focus is given on individual potential and each candidate is believed to be unique. The method of teaching is professional-oriented and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. Inculcating values through practice helps to mould the candidate into responsible citizens of tomorrow.
Our Programmes
SEHRDS Own Projects: SEHRDS has provided free Sewing Machine Tailoring training course to the rural unemployed women of 60 Nos. for the financial year 2020-2021.
Focus on Collaboration:
SEHRDS is focused on collaborating with corporate houses, established NGOs and funding agencies. The organization sincerely welcomes association with them. SEHRDS has not only a strong base at the grassroots but also strong network to support them in their endeavours. SEHRDS seeks their support and encouragement in fulfilling its cherished goals.

SEHRDS works in the areas of education, empowerment, healthcare services, and gender equality. The organization acts as a catalyst in bridging the gap between the industry requirements and the market availability. SEHRDS does this by building on the capabilities of the youth and making them competent to exhibit their skills in the market.
SEHRDS organization’s all key role employees having an average experience of 10 years in the skill development sector.
SEHRDS has not only gained credibility but also brought about a huge demand for transforming the youth into productive men and women. SEHRDS had trained nearly 298 candidates and placement assistance provided for nearly 195 candidates.
Founded in 2021, SEHRDS has laid its stress primarily on the core issues of society right from education to the underprivileged, sustainable livelihood, community development, and health of the communities to empowerment to the deserving youth and women, sustainable agricultural practices in the rural areas of India and of course the disaster management programmes.
What we Do
We are Skills Provider, helping to change the world, better by incorporating skills to students. SEHRDS is a not for profit oriented organization. It provides skills to the students in different categories which help create employment opportunities.
Our campus is a warm, open and friendly skill training campus with none of the taboo that is often associated with educational institutions. The Campus has relaxed, natural and welcoming ambience that provides a happy, enriching, fulfilling and structured environment for the inmates.

Emergence of SEHRDS
SEHRDS is the realization of the vision of Mrs. Kulkarni Bala Naga Jyothi, whose determination and perseverance have transformed her aspirations into reality. Her life stands as a source of inspiration for individuals with special abilities, proving that challenges can be stepping stones to success. Despite the societal barriers often faced by people with disabilities, she has always stood strong, determined to be the master of her own destiny.
From a young age, Mrs. Jyothi dreamed of contributing to the empowerment of underprivileged and rural communities. However, she soon realized that academic education alone was not enough to secure livelihoods in a competitive world. This understanding ignited her passion to promote technical and skill-based education, aligning with the Skill India Mission, to help the youth gain employability and self-reliance.
During her journey, she met numerous young men and women—especially from rural areas—who, despite having academic degrees, lacked practical skills and opportunities. This inspired her to establish SEHRDS (Society for Education, Health, Rural Development and Skill India), an organization dedicated to holistic community development.
SEHRDS focuses on health awareness, quality education, rural upliftment, and vocational training, helping unemployed youth become competent, confident, and socially responsible citizens. Through its integrated programs, SEHRDS continues to bridge the gap between education and employability, nurturing a generation capable of driving sustainable development in India’s rural and urban landscapes.
